[QE-users] Problem related to initiate EPW

Dear all,

I'm a semiconductor program master student and addicted to material 
properties.

Recently, I ran EPW (epw.x) after I finished ph.x.
I faced a problem about gcc & OpenMPI version.
I would like to follow the instruction on the EPW summer school website 
[1]:

But there is no gcc640 & openmpi-1.10.7 in my HPC:

[u5154473 at lgn301 ~]$ module avail

So I follow the openmpi download tutorial video [2] to download 
openmpi-1.10.7 from this website [3].
But I can't follow the website [4] to download the gcc-6.4.0.
I git stuck when cmd: ./contrib/download_prerequisites

(Searching for host gcc.gnu.org (gcc.gnu.org)... 8.43.85.97, 
2620:52:3:1:0:246e:9693:128c
Connecting to gcc.gnu.org (gcc.gnu.org)|8.43.85.97|:21... Failed: 
Connection timed out.
Connecting to gcc.gnu.org

reach the network.)

Is there any way to overcome this problem?
I would be very appreciated!

Any extra information you need, I would provide it ASAP!
