<p>I'm a semiconductor program master student and addicted to material properties.</p>
<p>Recently, I ran EPW (epw.x) after I finished ph.x.<br />I faced a problem about gcc & OpenMPI version.<br />I would like to follow the instruction on the <a href="https://docs.epw-code.org/doc/DownloadAndInstall.html">EPW summer school website</a>:<br /><img src="cid:b191f29a504f4f9adf824a02c1ce2c68@ntu.edu.tw" width="485" height="255" /></p>
<p>But there is no gcc640 & openmpi-1.10.7 in my HPC:</p>

<p>So I follow the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61mDG1q7z44">openmpi download tutorial video</a> to download openmpi-1.10.7 from this <a href="https://www.open-mpi.org/software/ompi/v1.10/">website</a>.<br />But I can't follow the <a href="https://www.cnblogs.com/buhuizhuzhou/p/16939328.html#1-安装gcc">website</a> to download the <span>gcc-6.4.0. <br />I git stuck when cmd: ./contrib/download_prerequisites<br /><img src="cid:b9ee5f25fe2933a8180f6c3dd72a39b9@ntu.edu.tw" width="798" height="108" /><br />(Searching for host gcc.gnu.org (gcc.gnu.org)... 8.43.85.97, 2620:52:3:1:0:246e:9693:128c <br />Connecting to gcc.gnu.org (gcc.gnu.org)|8.43.85.97|:21... <p><span>Is there any way to overcome this problem? <br /></span><span>I would be very appreciated!</span><span></span></p>
