Dear All,
This is a reminder that on Monday (June, 22d) at 16:00 (Trieste time)
there will be a WebEx conference devoted to a discussion about the
linear-response codes in Quantum ESPRESSO, and you are kindly invited to
participate.
We will use WebEx and hence here are some comments:
1. You don't need to buy WebEx! The host of the WebEx conference will be
at SISSA and we will use our license.
2. In order to join the WebEx conference, you just need to follow a link
which you will receive by email slightly before the start of the WebEx
conference (15-30 minutes before).
3. In order to join the WebEx conference, you need to have a WebEx
add-on installed on your computer. If you don't have such an add-on
already installed on your computer, you will be automatically asked to
install it once you follow the link to join the WebEx conference. Please
note that the installation of the add-on on Mac and Windows is easy and
should take less than 1 minute, but the installation of the add-on on
Linux is more tricky and hence we suggest that you take care about this
issue before the WebEx conference.
4. Once you are connected to WebEx, you need to activate video and audio
independently.
5. If you wish to show some slides or materials to others, there is a
"share screen" option on WebEx.
6. It is very important that you have a good internet connection. It is
preferable to have a cable connection instead of WiFi.
All the best,
Iurii
