[Wannier] Negative value of mu during SCDM method ?

Respected Sir/Madam,

During the nonliner curve fitting of projectibility of a bilayer system, i
got the values of mu = 6.97984 and sigma = 2.60297 respectively.

 mu_fit= mu-3*sigma = −0.82907 ,comes out to be negative.

So far it has been observed in the examples files with high positive
scdm_mu_values and low sigma_values in comparison to scdm_mu.

I request your kind guidance on whether such cases are possible? or is it
an error ?
