[QE-users] join Quantum ESPRESSO developer team in Trieste

Dear all,

A 1-year postdoctoral fellowship (Incarico di Ricerca), funded by the 
Digital Autonomy for RISC-V in Europe (Specific Grant Agreement 1) – 
DARE SGA 1 project, is available for an early-career Computational 
Physicist, Computational Chemist, or Software Engineer (within 6 years 
of completing a Master’s degree) to join the Quantum ESPRESSO developer 
team in Trieste. The successful candidate will contribute to preparing 
the QE software distribution for forthcoming RISC-V hardware platforms.

The research activity will focus on topics including extending 
vectorization throughout the code base, integrating specialized 
high-performance numerical libraries, and developing interfaces to 
profiling and diagnostic tools that are essential for 
architecture-specific optimizations.

The position also offers the opportunity to pursue research activities 
connected with the software development effort.
