I am trying to study the vacuum potential of a slab with 20 angstrom vacuum, using the assume isolated= 2d parameter of pw.x quantum espresso . Strangely, after plotting the potential using pp.x and average.x I see oscillations even in the vacuum region. Is that a valid result? And what could be the potential reasons for it? I have seen a similar query here https://mattermodeling.stackexchange.com/q/2435
