The INTERSECT project<https://intersect-project.eu/> is coming to an end and it is time to present the main result of its work: the Interoperable Material-to-Device (IM2D) simulation box for disruptive electronics.
IM2D is an integrated, standardized, interoperable software platform conceived for the direct and easy exploitation by industrial users to accelerate the development of emerging electronic devices such as FeFET,
memristors (PCM, RRAM), and selectors.

We are glad to invite you to our next online event dedicated to developers: TechCafe'<https://www.iwm.fraunhofer.de/en/about-us/events/online-workshop-techcafe.html> - Combining semantic web technologies with automated workflows within the IM2D simulation box - 29/03/2022 10.00 CET

During this 90 minutes online workshop, our developers will present to a technical audience of scientists and developers the IM2D-toolbox and the underlying technologies developed within the INTERSECT project.
They will walk you through the application code architecture and logics behind the ontologies applied in the interaction between SimPhoNy and AiiDA in the IM2D toolbox.
The TechCafé will be filled with practical API examples, hands-on tutorials, detailed explanations and open discussions.
Complete info, agenda and registration are available on the dedicated webpage<https://www.iwm.fraunhofer.de/en/about-us/events/online-workshop-techcafe.html>.

We are happy to announce our webinar on IM2D simulation platform<https://intersect-project.eu/im2d-webinar/>, an integrated, standardized, interoperable software solution conceived to sustain the simulation-aided R&D processes of semiconductor industries and SMEs to accelerate the development of advanced and emerging electronics. Monday April 11, 2022 - 14.00 CET

IM2D is based on a multi-physics and multiscale approach with focus on novel, complex, “real life” materials in the device configuration. IM2D conjugates the advantages of material and device-driven software, connecting the properties of materials at the atomistic level to the electrical behavior of devices, with the aim to reduce the gap between materials and device realms.

IM2D supports two main research workflows:

  *
Material-to-Device: optimization of device-design capabilities by understanding and predicting the device performance starting from the material properties and fabrication process effects
  *
Device-to-Material: optimization of material-design capabilities by exploring new materials and new compounds, starting from the desired electrical performances of the device.

Through the use of state-of-the-art research examples and the live presentation of code, the webinar will introduce the main physical and engineering features accessible with the IM2D platform.
For further details and registration please visit the dedicated webpage.<https://intersect-project.eu/im2d-webinar/>
