Dear Rutika,

Microsoft Azure offers high-performance compute nodes which are suitable for running large QE calculations. For example, the "HB" series nodes<https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/hbv3-series> which are connected by a 200 Gb/s Infiniband interconnect.

There are some subtleties in selecting the correct VM options for cross-node MPI, if you decide to use Azure I can share more details about how we set up QE on our end.

Best regards,
Dominik Gresch

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [QE-users] Cloud Computing

Dear colleagues,

I am currently running by NEB and phonon calculation on ComputeCanada. But I am facing great trouble as to start the calculation and it keeps failing. So, I am looking for other paid cloud service on which I can run my calculations comprising of 2x2x2 supercell created.
Please suggest me a better alternative.

Thank You.
Regards,
Rutika
