[QE-users] head.x error

Hello,

I have been working through the GWW examples (QE version 6.5) and all have gone fine except for example05.  When it gets to the head.x step,  it stops execution with the error:

write_line error: fd=-1 buf=:cmd-abort exitcode=1007244805
:
system msg for write_line failure : Bad file descriptor

The last two lines that appear in the si_head.out file are:

Band Structure Calculation
Davidson diagonalization with overlap

I have tried single as well as multiple processors, but the error was the same.

Any assistance in how to solve this error would be greatly appreciated.
