[Pw_forum] how to calculate xy-plane integrated conduction electron density for LAO/STO system?

Dear all,

I read a paper http://arxiv.org/pdf/1008.3372.pdf
Fig. 2 (as attached) in this paper shows *Transferred electron and hole
densities integrated over the xy plane for LaAlO3/SrTiO3 superlattice*.

My question is how to calculate the* conduction* electron density?
