[Pw_forum] tuning band gap with electric field

Dear All,

I wish to study electric field effect on 2D system
for which i have already calculated band structure without electric field.

I wish to know if 
I have to relax structure with telfield in &control and efield_cart in &electrons 
and then run scf,band,bands as usual with the same tag
or
i can go straightaway to scf,band by inserting telfield in &control and efield_cart in &electrons
