Dear Ronald,

Strange behavior, it happens here (ggen.f90)  :

 IF (ngm > ngm_g) CALL errore ('ggen', 'too many g-vectors', ngm)

I am not QE developer, but firstly I suggest to lower ecutrho to 280 Ry 
and see!!!
