[Pw_forum] phonon linewidth

Dear All,
I used the PHonon package in espresso to calculate electron-phonon
coupling, or more specifically the vibrational dephasing rate due to Landau
damping.
By definition, it is 2pi*phonon linewidth. The phonon linewidth I got makes
sense. For Ru bulk, it is about 1.5-2 cm-1. What bothers me a little bit
is the definition of phonon linewidth (Eq. 2) in PHonon package users'
guide. I did not see any difference with the definition of actual
vibrational dephasing rate. I tried to go through the code elphon.f90, but
did not convince myself this 2pi factor is in the calculation or not. I
just want to make sure that the phonon linewidth calculated with unit GHZ
is right.
Thanks,
Hongliang
