try to put a few prints in Modules/read_input.f90 and in Modules/ 
open_close.f90
and to figure out where it freezes. Note that "reading from standard  
input"
actually means "dumping standard input to a file, then reading the  
file".
Maybe your machine doesn't like redirecting unit 5?
