[Pw_forum] A question about efield

Dear all
  
 I have a question about the use of an external sawlike potential in PWscf.
 The discription of parameter "eamp" says "the change of slope of this
potential must be located in the empty region". 
  
 This means the two points emaxpos and emaxpos+epreg must be located
 in vacuum or the region from emaxpos to emaxpos+epreg must be located
 in vacuum?
