I am using hp laptop (intel core, 4GB RAM,256 GB HD) with dual boot FEDORA 10

My laptop gets off after every 75-80 minutes, probably because of overheating
This happens only when i use linux,
I can use window even for 10 hrs without such difficulty
 
Can any one explain how to resolve the issue, probably there is any option which i dont know
