[Pw_forum] Another doubt in band plot

Hi All

While plotting band structure for a supercell it shows some lines connecting from the valence bad to conduction band points. Why so? I am doing this for SiC with a 16 atoms supercell which is obtained by exapnding the lattice parameter 2 times in all directions. Attaching the band plot ps file here.  Please suggest.
