What do you get with command
ls -l /home/hcg/Desktop/DESKTOP_sonu/CODES/pwscf/sonu-exercise_QE/ 
AlAs/As.pz-bhs_s1.UPF ?

because they are not there, or they are not readable (in the unix sense)
