you should check if file "IO-O.pp" is where the code expects it,
with the proper name. IIRC it should be in the current directory,
i.e. the one in which you execute average.x . In parallel
execution, however, the current directory may not be where
you think it is: some MPI's assume that it is in the directory
where the executable is
