To comment a bit further: if you are using run-time boundary checks they
*may* find those lines offending and prevent you from spotting the real
problem.

I have a modified version of the file that prevent it. I haven't released
it as it is a quick hack, even more messy than the current one. If you
need it I'll send it to you.
