[Pw_forum] Pentium-M versus Itanium

Besides that, modern Intel desktop hardware is MUCH faster than server 
hardware for PW/CP/CPMD. Basically, single 4-core desktop CPU with fast DDR2 
is as fast as two 4-core Xeons. Both are  faster than Intel Itanium.

The not so obvious trend here is : the more expensive the hardware , the  
slower it is :)
