no, but it is likely that since "configure" did not recognize
your configuration, it assumed that you need explicit
preprocessing of fortran files. Please try the following
modified version of the "configure" script:
   http://www.fisica.uniud.it/~giannozz/public/configure
It should recognize the intel compiler for macintosh as
well. In order to recognize mkl the exact way to load
mkl for macintos is needed
