[Pw_forum] execution error on Itanium2

 Dear all,

   There is a problem with PWscf code running in parallel (serial version works fine) on Itanium2 cluster, compiled with Intel8.1 compilers, mpich-gm:

1 - MPI_ALLREDUCE : Datatype is MPI_TYPE_NULL
2 - MPI_ALLREDUCE : Datatype is MPI_TYPE_NULL
3 - MPI_ALLREDUCE : Datatype is MPI_TYPE_NULL
0 - MPI_ALLREDUCE : Datatype is MPI_TYPE_NULL
[0]  Aborting program !
[0] Aborting program!
[1]  Aborting program !
[1] Aborting program!
[2]  Aborting program !
[2] Aborting program!
[3]  Aborting program !
[3] Aborting program!

 It should be certanly a problem of MPICH, but system admins does not believe in that, because other MPI programs work fine. So, did anybody see the same problem or know how to fix it?
