this is the error. What follows is, I think, an 
error of the error routine (a second-order error)
so you may ignore it

it means exactly what it says: the code cannot
allocate an array (a one-dimensional real array).
Why, I don't know: we need to know which array
cannot be allocated, how much memory is required, 
how much memory you are allowed to allocate (which 
can be much less than 4Gb, depending on the local
configuration), etc.
