[Q-e-developers] Next Quantum ESPRESSO release (5.3.0)

Dear Quantum ESPRESSO developers,

a new release (5.3.0) is planned for the weekend of December 19th. 

The process is going to be the following:
- the main trunk will accept contributions from registered developers until December 18th. Who is not authorized _MUST_ send a patches and files to Paolo Giannozzi.
- a SVN TAG will be created on December 19th. What is not included in the SVN TAG at the time it is created is not going to appear in the public release.
- the final tar.gz archives and online documentation will be updated the 19th or the 20th (mostly based on how a off-line testing goes)

If you have developments and contributions planned to be completed more or less in the same period of the release date _PLEASE_ do not commit them at the last very moment! Let's give to everybody the opportunity to test and try new code before finalize a new release. You can contact me or Paolo Giannozzi to seek any form of support if needed.
