[Q-e-developers] New phiGEMM has been released (v1.7)

Dear all,
    a new version of phiGEMM (v1.7) has been released!

From Change Log:
- support to PGI compler (version >=10, older versions could work but I did not perform any test using them)
- special matrix-matrix multiplication that targets very rectangular matrices (now only for DGEMM/ZGEMM)
- adaptive split factor based on a simple heuristic (turn on by adding the -D__PHIGEMM_SELFTUNE flag to the GEMM_OPT line inside "make.inc")
- unified DEBUG output style (now using grep or awk is much easier to strip out the debug information printed by phiGEMM)

This new version has been already included in the GPU branch of Quantum ESPRESSO.
