Antonino Marco Saitta</strong>, Exceptional Class 2 Professor in Physics at
Sorbonne University's Institute of Mineralogy, Physics of Materials and
Cosmochemistry (IMPMC) (<a href="http://impmc.sorbonne-universite.fr/en/index.html">http://impmc.sorbonne-universite.fr/en/index.html</a> ).</font></p>
<p style="margin-right:0in;margin-left:0in"><font face="verdana, sans-serif">A specialist in electronic structure theory and ab initio calculations,
Prof. Saitta has made significant contributions in diverse fields ranging from
bulk semiconductors to graphene, nanotubes, water, and ices. His work's breadth
extends to biogeochemistry, and the burgeoning realm of machine learning in
materials science.</font></p>
