</div>There is an specific formulation for the Rashba spin-orbit term in the Graphene which is known as the Kane and Mele model. I know that the Rashba term is an extrinsic spin-orbit which is related to the presence of  external electric field or the substrate. Also, i know that we can study the intrinsic spin-orbit coupling by Q. E.<br>
