I am trying to run the code pw.x on cygwin but I am getting an error like permission denied. So i tried to check if all things were going ok, so I typed:<BR>

./check-pw.x.j<BR>

 <BR>

and the operation was aborted with the message:<BR>

 <BR>

/espresso-4.1.2/bin/pw.x: permission denied. FAILURE with error condition!<BR>

 <BR>

Wjhat is the source of the error and how can it be fixed??<BR>
