[Pw_forum] [pw_forum] SCF calculation with external magnetic field

I usually perform the scf calculation first (using VASP or QE) and then use
the Elk code (http://elk.sourceforge.net/) to apply an external magnetic
field.
I also started using Elk recently and not sure if this can be of help for
you.
