[Pw_forum] External E-field Calculation for Bulk

Hi all,

I want to simulate the effect of the external electric field on the charge
density and band diagram for a 3D bulk material. I saw the use of saw like
potential for slab geometry. But I guess, thats not perfect for my case. Is
there any method for doing this in bulk 3D material?

Could anyone please give me suggestion regarding this? Thank you very much.
