fftw.c(27449): warning #188: enumerated type mixed with another type
           EXPECT_INT(dir);
           ^

fftw.c(27450): warning #188: enumerated type mixed with another type
           EXPECT_INT(type);
           ^
But the compilation finishes.

Should I use the provided fftw libs?

Yes, I think so. There are only warnings and seem to be harmless.
