[Pw_forum] disk space requirement for phonon calc.

Hi,
I would like to know how much disk space one needs to accomodate the large
files produced by the phonon calculation in the newest version of PWSCF.
Each time I try to run a phonon calculation for a 8 atom system the
program crashes with 'i/o error in davcio'.
The file sizes, particularly, *.wfc is quite large. Therefore, I guess it
is a disk space problem.
Is there any  way to circumvent this problem other than looking for a
machine that has large enough disk space?
