<div dir="ltr"><div>The first you said. The original reasoning behind anonymous svn access was to allow everybody to access new functionalities and bug fixes. It is no longer such a good point, though, since a significant effort is being devoted to produce better-tested releases at regular intervals (every 3-4 months). Moreover qe-forge has a number of problems and limitations that strongly suggest to reduce the number of users and accesses.  <br><br>People 
developing a project that needs to be kept in sync with Quantum ESPRESSO
 (e.g. a new functionality, or a package using QE sources)
 may use a 
separate GIT mirror ("q-e-private"), regularly aligned to the SVN trunk
